These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Calendar+ ("we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the Calendar+ web application (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them.

2. Description of Service

Calendar+ is a free, browser-based calendar application that provides:

• Monthly, weekly, and yearly calendar views
• Event creation, editing, and management
• Public holiday information for multiple countries (algorithmically computed)
• Date calculation tools
• Calendar export in iCalendar (.ics) format
• Moon phase indicators and astronomical data

The Service is provided free of charge.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features of the Service
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material
• Attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Service

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, text, graphics, and all content except user-generated calendar events, is owned by Calendar+ and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Holiday names, dates, and cultural information displayed in the Service are derived from publicly available sources and computed algorithmically. Individual holiday names belong to their respective cultural and religious traditions.

You retain ownership of any calendar data you create using the Service. Since all data is stored locally on your device, we make no claim to any events, notes, or other content you create.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy or completeness of holiday dates and festival information
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement of third-party rights

Festival and holiday dates computed by the Service are approximate. Lunar-based festivals (Hindu, Islamic, Chinese) may vary by up to ±1 day from official dates due to the nature of astronomical approximations. Always verify important dates with authoritative sources.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Calendar+ and its operators shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from inaccurate holiday or festival date information
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed $0, as the Service is provided free of charge.

7. Data and Privacy

All calendar data you create is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal calendar data. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete details on data handling.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites and services (e.g., Google Fonts). These third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Add, change, or remove features at any time
• Update holiday and festival computation algorithms to improve accuracy

We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
