Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 8, 2026
Calendar+ ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Calendar+ web application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Calendar+ is designed to respect your privacy. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information on our servers. All calendar data you create (events, countdowns, preferences) is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage on your own device and never sent to us.
We do not currently use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No personal data is collected from your use of this Service.
2. Local Storage
Calendar+ stores the following data locally in your browser using the Web Storage API (localStorage):
- Calendar events you create
- Countdown timers
- Your preferences (dark mode, country, week settings)
This data stays on your device. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this page, or by using your browser's developer tools. We have no access to this data.
3. Advertising
Calendar+ does not currently display any advertisements. We are not affiliated with or approved by any advertising network at this time. No advertising cookies or tracking pixels are set by this Service.
If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before any advertising is introduced, and you will be informed of the types of data collected.
4. Cookies
Calendar+ itself does not set any cookies. The only browser storage we use is localStorage (described in Section 2), which stores your calendar data entirely on your device. For full details, please read our Cookie Policy.
The only third-party service that may interact with your browser is Google Fonts, which is used to load the Inter typeface. Google may log basic request information (IP address, browser type) when serving font files. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
5. Third-Party Services
Our Service currently uses only the following third-party service:
- Google Fonts — web fonts loaded from Google's CDN (Privacy Policy)
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
6. Children's Privacy
Calendar+ is a general-purpose calendar tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the Service, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
7. Data Security
Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, the security of your calendar information depends on your own device and browser security. We recommend keeping your browser updated and using appropriate device security measures.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including:
- Right of access — to know what data is held about you
- Right to erasure — your calendar data can be deleted at any time by clearing localStorage in your browser
- Right to data portability — export your calendar data via the Export button in the app (.ics format)
Since we do not collect personal data on our servers, most privacy rights are exercisable directly through your browser's storage settings.
9. International Users
The Service is available to users worldwide. Since we do not collect or process personal data on our servers, there is no cross-border data transfer associated with your use of Calendar+.
10. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
