Cookie Policy
Last updated: March 8, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how Calendar+ ("we", "us", "our") uses browser storage, and your choices. Calendar+ does not use cookies itself — we only use localStorage for functional storage.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to remember your preferences.
A related technology we do use is:
- localStorage / sessionStorage — browser-based storage that works similarly to cookies but stays on your device and is never sent over the network
2. How Calendar+ Uses Browser Storage
Calendar+ uses only your browser's localStorage API. We do not set any cookies.
2a. localStorage (First-Party — Functional)
We use your browser's localStorage API to store your calendar data and preferences entirely on your device. This data is never transmitted to any server.
| Key | Purpose | Type | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
calendarplus_data |
Stores your events, countdowns, country preference, theme, and settings | Functional | Until cleared |
This data never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers.
2b. Google Fonts
Calendar+ loads the Inter font from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser requests font files, Google may log basic request information such as your IP address and browser type. This is handled by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Google Fonts itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
3. Third-Party Advertising Cookies
Calendar+ does not currently use any advertising networks, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. No advertising cookies are set on this Service.
If we introduce advertising in the future, this Cookie Policy will be updated in advance and users will be notified.
4. Managing Browser Cookies and Storage
You can manage or clear browser cookies and localStorage through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
5. Clear Your Calendar Data
To remove your locally stored calendar data (events, preferences):
- In your browser's developer tools, go to Application → Local Storage and clear
calendarplus_data - Or clear all site data for this website in your browser settings
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be indicated by the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
